Recipes for CHICKEN APPLE PIE

Ingredients:

4 boneless halve chicken breasts
1 1/4 cup of unsweetened apple cider
1 apple (golden or red delicious) sliced thick
2 tsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
a dash of nutmeg



Directions:

Mix 1/2 cup of apple juice with cornstarch and set aside
Sprinkle 1/2 cinnamon and nutmeg on chicken breasts
On oiled pan cook on chicken spice down on medium heat
Cook for 2 minutes and sprinkle spice on other side
Turn and brown for another 2 minutes
add 3/4 cup of apple cider
Cover and bring to a boil
Lower to medium heat and simmer
Poach for five minutes then turn chicken and add a slice of apple
Cook for another five minutes or until cooked through
Add remaining juice and cornstarch to the pan, stir
Cover and cook for a minute or until sauce has thickened
