Recipes for CREAM OF POTATO & BACON SOUP

Ingredients:


7 - 8 skinned chunked potato's boiled (save potato water)
Mash potatos add about a cup of potato water to the mashed potatos
Add pinch of salt and pepper and parmesean to taste
Add about a cup of milk or cream
(Add until you reach the consistancy you prefer for a cream soup.)


Directions:


Cook half a pound of bacon till crispy, chop it and add it to soup.
Then put the whole mixture in the slow cooker or let it simmer on the stove at very low heat.
The longer you leave it the more the flavour blends.
note: this soup is even better the next day, it thickens up really nice.

Potato and bacon combined in a creamy sauce,... who could say no?
