5 cups of water
1 cup of water
1 egg
1/4 tsp salt
Work egg into flour with a fork
Mix in salt, water and oil
Knead it until it becomes firm
Cover and let stand for about 10 minutes
Roll dough onto floured board thinly
Cut into circles
Add desired filling onto one half of circle
fold over and pinche edges firmly
Drop perogies into salted boiling water
Cook until they rise to top of water
Remove with a slotted spoon
Pour a little bit of butter on to prevent sticking
